When Drs. John and Kristi Reitz purchased the historic South West State Bank building for their Chiropractic and Wellness Clinic, they knew that the upstairs space was a special place that was destined to become a yoga studio! Kristi has practiced yoga for over 15 years and definitely understands the need for experienced and dedicated yoga teachers. Sunshine Yoga is a home for anyone looking to practice in a space with positive energy and excellent teachers. Let us help you find your shining purpose on the mat, join our community of Sunshine!
Our classes are held in Sunshine Studio within the beautifully remodeled and historic Better Life Building. Sunshine Studio is accessible by elevator, ample parking is provided behind the Better Life Building. To access the studio, please enter through the back entry door and take the stairs to the upper level.
The floor of Sunshine Studio is a soft, foam floor. You'll feel comfortably supported and won't experience issues kneeling or sitting; something that commonly prevents people from enjoying a yoga practice.

Finding yoga was a life changing experience for me. I began practicing four years ago and fell in love with the gifts that yoga gave my mind, body and spirit. I always knew it was something I wanted to share with others. I completed my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in October of 2018 from Twisted Warrior in Fond du Lac, which deepened my respect for the practice and strengthened my love for it. I enjoy all forms of yoga but power yoga, restorative yoga, yin, and yoga nidra resonate most with me. As a speech language pathologist, communication is my passion. Yoga allows so many beautiful ways to communicate through movement, through breath, and through meditation. Yoga has enlightened my life both on and off the mat. With a blended family of five kids and my boyfriend, life can be busy but yoga keeps me grounded and at peace. My family loves to be outside, to do things together, and to laugh. We are excited to be in Sheboygan and look forward to establishing great relationships with the community.

I've been practicing yoga off and on for close to 20 years, but started to love it about 5 years ago. I became certified in November of 2018 and have been teaching since then. I love introducing people of all ages and abilities to yoga, which is why I love to teach beginner classes. I don't take myself too seriously and try to make yoga fun, not intimidating.
